Tonight (9/13), Monophonics bring their high energy show from the Bay Area to The Mint. The Monophonics are a six-piece, Bay Area Psychedelic Soul band with a penchant and trailing reputation the world around for igniting a room or festival stage with incendiary live performances. Monophonics keep the 60’s and 70’s tradition of Soul alive, while simultaneously maintaining a uniquely modern sound. Their music is heavily groove-based and they damn well know how to bring a room to life with their high-energy performances and heavy funk sound. Be prepared to lose yourself to dance.

Before Monophonics hit the stage at 10 pm, the astonishingly talented trio of Adam Levy, Matt Chamberlain and Larry Goldings will play a lengthy set kicking off at 8 pm. Check out their recent cover of Chuck Berry’s “Memphis, Tennessee” here.

Arrive early, stay late. See Ya At The Mint!
