BLU & Exile and Uncle Imani of the Pharcyde – Saturday 10.25.08

It’s been a long hot summer. And then some. There’s something about the concrete in Los Angeles. I don’t think it knows its not suppose to be here. Sometimes but especially in the heat, I want to believe the desert of angels tries to uproot the redline and burst through the gray slabs and the hulking overpasses to meet its mercurial mate. You can see it, maybe if you squint your eyes and tilt your head just a bit askew.

That’s was some fun for your eyes. But what about your ears? What’s keeping that concrete on the ground? It must be something from Below the Heavens, it must be BLU and Exile. There sound will let your surf on the heat wave, through the Dali-ing concrete fixtures of our city. It can take you anywhere, so let it take you here with Imani of the Pharcyde.

Refresh yourself.
